As with any nonprofit, CHAPS relies heavily on the services provided by volunteers

Volunteer Duties include:

Therapy Assistance:

Leaders/Horse Handlers
Side Walkers to Support Clients

Stable Management:

Grooms – grooming, tack cleaning, feeding, Stable Maintenance
stalls, repairs, manure removal, arena maintenance

Office Help:

Secretarial – filing, appointments, calling clients, etc
Data ENtry

Fundraising:

Committee members for fundraiser's
Event Staff
‘Idea’ People
Donation Jar pick up

Publicity:

Press Release writers
Liaisons with community civic organizations
Liaisons with media outlets

Professional Services:

Veterinary services
Farrier Services
Grant Writing services

Committee Members:

Positions open on the facility committee, Marketing and Publicity and Fundraising Committees

Board Members:

Can Recycling :

Collecting cans at our 2 collection centers, sorting and bagging cans, and taking them to the recycling center.
