Clients, staff and volunteers appreciate your donation to CHAPS. Goods, services and funding are needed to keep the program open and available for community members with special needs and disabilities. Please click on one of the links below to identify our various areas of need:

Funding:

Scholarships for Clients:

• 1 Year Scholarship (52 sessions) - $2080.00
• 6 Month Scholarship (26 sessions) - $1040.00
• 3 Month Scholarship (13 sessions) - $520.00
• 2 Month Scholarship (8 sessions) - $320.00

Adopt a Horse - $25.00:

• Receive a certificate suitable for framing that identifies you, your business or organization as a horse "parent"

Sponsor a Horse - $1500.00 per year:

• One year sponsorship helps us maintain the health and well being of our horses by providing funding for feed, medication, schooling and veterinary "extras" such as massage and chiropractic work. Sponsors will receive a certificate suitable for framing, and their name will be displayed on a plaque on the stall of their horse identifying them as a sponsor.

Sponsor a Room - $300.00 per year:

• Sponsor will receive a certificate suitable for framing and their name will appear on the room door as the sponsor for the year

Sponsor a Stall - $300.00 per year:

• Sponsor will receive a certificate suitable for framing and their name will appear on the room door as the sponsor for the year

Sponsor an Arena Panel - $200.00 per year:

• Sponsor will receive a certificate suitable for framing and their name will appear on the room door as the sponsor for the year

Sponsor the Arena - $1000.00 per year:

• Sponsor will receive a certificate suitable for framing and their name will appear on the Arena door as the sponsor for the year

Sponsor the Facility - $5000.00 per year:

• Sponsor will receive a certificate suitable for framing and their name will appear on Facility Signage on US WHY 14 E, a press release will be issued to local media

Friends of CHAPS:

• Winners' Circle - $5000 or More
• Grand Champion - $3000 to $4999
• Reserve Champion - $2000 to $2999
• Silver Buckle - $1000 to $1999

Friends of CHAPS receive recognition at the facility on a plaque, press release to local media, and a framed certificate. Funding from friends of CHAPS donors goes directly to operational funding for the program.

• Saddles: Western large Adult saddle, youth saddle, small child saddle; English Large Adult and child sizes
• Safety Stirrups: Peacock style (see Freedom Rider web site)
• Therapeutic riding pad, model No. 01-0174 from Freedom Rider catalog
• Headstalls: nylon racing style in colors red, blue, green and purple
• Extra long "Rainbow Reins"
• Safety Helmets for clients: lid locker style No. 040403 in small, medium, large and extra large from the Freedom Rider catalog
• Pitchforks
• Hay: small squares preferred but always accepting large squares or round bales
• Equine Senior feed
• Supplements: MSM
• Wormer: paste Ivermect Gold
• Bute tablets
• Medical supplies for horses: antibiotic ointment, bandages, vet wrap, etc.
• 10 gallon stable buckets
• Fortiflex feed tubs
• Garden cart
• Ring equipment: Barrels, Basketball Hoop, therapy balls, dressage letters,
• Dust Control for the Arena
• 3 step Mounting Block
• Mountain Climbing Harnesses: large, medium, and small

Other Equipment Needed:

• Small manure spreader
• Regular or extended cab pickup truck, model 2000 or younger, 4 Wheel drive with 5th Wheel hitch and extended warrantee
• 4 to 6 horse stock trailer with storage area (peak or tack room) in above average or better condition, 5th wheel

Property:

Our long range plans include owning our own facility within 5 to 7 years. We would accept property (10 plus acres) and a stable with up to 10 stalls, indoor and outdoor arena and turnout. If you are interested in donating property, please contact the director at CHAPS, (307) 673-6161.
